After School Program
PHILOSOPHY
- The After School Program supports an overall philosophy that encourages a child's social and emotional development as well as their academic progress.
HISTORY

Since the 1991, Twin Hills School District assumed the administrative responsibilities of the After School Program in order to continue to provide a high quality program.
GOAL
- The purpose of the After School Program is to provide and maintain a safe, caring environment for the children.
ENVIRONMENT
- The staff creates a nurturing environment where the children learn mutual respect for others and build long lasting friendships.
ACTIVITIES
- The program offers various activities such as, arts and crafts, inside games (board games, puzzles, legos, drawing, etc.). and outside activities. Also available is computer time and a supervised homework time. See schedule at right.
REGISTRATION
- All children must be registered before they may attend the After School Program. All of the forms must be returned to the Program Coordinator along with the $25.00 (non-refundable) registration fee prior to the child attending.(per family)
- You may register a child any time as long as space is available.
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
- You may register your child the last week of July or the week prior to school starting.
TUITION SCHEDULE
- Tuition is based on the number of hours and days a child attends.

- Rates may vary according to Common Planning Days and Teacher In-Service days each month.
- We do offer Drop - in service at an hourly rate of $5.50 and any portion thereof.
- A 10% discount is given to additional children in the same family.
- A $25.00 registration fee is paid annually and is non - refundable.
- Tuition is due by the 15th of each month. If tuition is paid after the 20th a late charge of $10 may be added.
