Board of Trustee Goals
The Board of Trustees of the Twin Hills District establishes the following goals for the 2012-13 school year. In enacting these goals the Board is committed to working in a collaborative and transparent manner with staff, parents, and community members. Further, the Board values a welcoming culture with involvement in timely communications and decision making.
Curriculum
To ensure that district curriculum is rigorous, aligned with Common Core Standards, meets 21st century learning goals, and serves as an innovative model for districts throughout the county.
Instructional Leadership
To provide strong, inclusive instructional leadership that uses data in decision making.
Enrollment
To achieve moderate, steady enrollment growth and retention of students.
Supervision and Evaluation
To have strong, rigorous, standardized evaluation processes for teachers, classified staff and administrators.
Facilities
Maintain safe, student friendly facilities at all school sites.
Budget and Finance
To maintain a healthy fund balance and continue to receive positive certifications.
Governance
To achieve full, active, and informed involvement of all Board members in the governance of the district.
